Details are finally here for our sixth anniversary coming up on Saturday, March 2nd!
First, the basics: This will be a one-day event this year, on Saturday, March 2nd. Your entry fee of $30 will get you a tasting glass, 10 sample tickets, unlimited soda and coffee, and the opportunity to try 20 of our favorite and small batch beers of the year (a tentative menu is below). As always, extra tickets are available at 4 for $10. Our longtime friends at Kitchen Kulture have created a fantastic menu of á la carte food available for purchase separately (they went for a Mardi Gras theme this year--we can't wait! See below.) Come any time from noon to 8 PM.
This year we also have a brand new addition to the anniversary party: Gravity Casks. These are traditional German-style cask beers, conditioned and served in wooden barrels. For everyone who has collected a Scratch stein over the years, we are inviting you to bring your stein for half or whole liter pours for $6 and $12. We have two very special Illinois farmhouse beers, brewed with Sugar Creek Malt, honey from Steeleville, hops from Hallowed Hops and Land Locked Hops, and our own house yeast, then dry-hopped with two special Illinois-grown hop varieties. A fantastic showcase of this region's incredible agriculture.
Entry tickets are available online on the home page of our website and everyone must have a ticket that day to attend. We are limiting the festivities to 250 people, as that is the best fit for our size and space. Everyone who has a ticket will be able to enjoy themselves in our space without feeling too cramped--or waiting too long!
