Black Trumpet Biere de Mars Bottle Release
The next bottle release is our Black Trumpet Biere de Mars, available for online reservation on August 15th at noon! This beer was brewed with several dozen pounds of black trumpet mushrooms we harvested in the woods around the brewery. It's a clean-drinking, amber and malty French farmhouse-style beer that finishes earthy and chocolatey. This bottle-conditioned 750 ml bottle is 6.9% abv and has been cellared for about 6 months for your enjoyment now or can be kept in your home cellar for another couple of years.
Tickets to reserve the bottle are $2 per bottle and you may reserve up to 12 bottles (or one case) for $24. The bottles themselves will be $20 each when you come to pick them up at the brewery with a reservation or $25 without. Tickets go on sale Monday, August 15th at noon and will be available for reservation online until Thursday August 18th. After that bottles will be available on a first-come first-served basis at the brewery, until we run out. To secure a bottle (or a case!) make sure you reserve ahead of time. Our reservation fees are donated to a great cause. This month we're donating to the Trico Community Food Pantry.
You may pick up your bottle during our normal business hours starting August 18th through September 18th. We have very limited space so any bottles not claimed by September 18th must be forfeited. THANK YOU!
Reading https://norskautanlicens.com made me think about how foraged ingredients can be a gamble, so I’m curious how the black trumpets’ earthy, chocolatey notes hold up against the malt backbone after that six-month cellaring. The tie-in with the Trico Community Food Pantry is a nice touch—makes the reservation feel like a small contribution rather than just a deposit. I’d probably buy one to drink now and one to hide in the cellar for a year.
The description of the bottle release feels accurate in the specs, though I wish there were more tasting notes. Overall, the article covers the basics. I’d been reading up more on https://kroatien-ferien.com/ and the structure was easy to follow honestly.
