The next bottle release at the brewery is our Chambourcin, a barrel-aged beer brewed with local wine grapes, available for online reservation on Monday, August 28th at noon! This bottle-conditioned farmhouse ale was fermented with our wild house mixed culture, then refermented on Southern Illinois-grown Chambourcin grapes and aged in a puncheon that previously held red wine. This beer possesses a deep purple hue, a noticeable funk from the barrel character and a tannic, dry red wine quality. It's packaged in 355 ml bottles at 8.6% alcohol by volume and is ready for your enjoyment now or can be kept in your home cellar for several years.
Tickets to reserve the beer are $1 per bottle and you may reserve up to 6 bottles (or a 1/2 case) for $6. The bottles themselves will be $11 each when you come to pick them up at the brewery with a reservation, or $12 without. Tickets go on sale Monday, August 28th at noon and will be available for reservation online until Wednesday, August 30th at midnight, or until the reservations are filled. After that, bottles will be available on a first-come first-served basis at the brewery. To secure a bottle (or a 1/2 case!) make sure you reserve ahead of time. Our reservation fees are donated to a great cause. This time we'll be sending money to the Humane Society of Southern Illinois.
You may pick up your bottle during our normal business hours starting Thursday, August 31st through Sunday, September 24th (our Oktoberfest!). We have very limited space so any bottles not claimed by September 24th must be forfeited. As always, you will be asked to show ID and your ticket when you come to purchase your bottle. THANK YOU!
Working at the brewery, I realized how important quality refrigeration equipment is. When we first started, many people could not set the temperature for storing and transporting beer correctly. This affected the taste and quality of the product. Later, we found the perfect solution on the website of the company https://www.pissedconsumer.com/company/perlick/customer-service.html , where all the necessary equipment is presented. Since then, our production processes have improved significantly, and the quality of beer has become consistently high.
A Chambourcin bottle release is always an exciting event for wine enthusiasts, offering a chance to explore rich flavors and unique characteristics. Proper storage and temperature control play a key role in preserving wine quality. For businesses managing large-scale storage, investing in reliable electric motors can help maintain optimal conditions by ensuring efficient climate control systems. Whether for wineries or industrial settings, well-maintained equipment is essential for smooth operations and product consistency, making technology a valuable asset in the process.
